Stage 5: have we passed Hungary?

Well, here we are again! We are now (Monday 29 August) in the town Kecskemét. It is just in the middle of Hungary, but it is still closer to the South border than the North border. We went through Slovakia, passed the capital (what was the name of that city again?..... Oh, wait! Bratislava!) and after that we passed Budapest in Hungary. Between all those cities we've passed some small towns and we were not far from river Danube. For sure some of you went there so you won't miss it!

While crossing the border of Slovakia to Hungary, we've passed the town Kimle. It was so nice to wake up in the middle of nature! We went to the nature reserve Lickói Híd where some of you were confronted with their fear. We had to pass a wooden bridge by bike which didn't look too stable. A few of us passed the bridge but it wasn't with full confidence.... But it all went well!

We had to go quite some kilometers to Budapest, and what an amazing city it is! It has around 1.723.836 inhabitants, a lot of historical buildings and a beautiful culture. Amazing! And then the Danube which cuts the city. Something which is really impressive is that around 67 billion liter of water is streaming in 119 wells and boreholes of Budapest. That's why there a lot of spa and wellnesses. You could easily have a mini vacation over here!

> tour cycling: just like last time she is the Warrior: Lisanne! You are at 72% of your distance! 🎊✨

> race cycling: how could it be different? It is either Louis or Yvette... Louis is at 78,6% of his distance and Yvette at 69,3%. So Louis, you are the one and only Warrior! 🎆🎃
